The LFB Group's social data

The number of employees registered in France grew by 4.8% compared to 2009.

This increase came about both by directly hiring employees and through external growth, following the integration of the staff from MAbgène SAS, a Group subsidiary specialized in bioproduction. The current workforce is characterized by a high percentage of women (51.34%) and a continuous increase in the number of management personnel over several years.

The number of employees abroad took a particularly noticeable upturn in 2010, following the acquisition of companies in the EUROPLASMA group.

This acquisition brought more than 200 new co-workers to the Group. The LFB Group has gained new skills, in particular in the professions linked to plasma characterization.

Following the reorganization of GTC Biotherapeutics Inc. in the United States in early summer 2010, the company's staff numbers have stabilized and now number over than 50 people whose experience, particularly in the regulatory domain in the United States, is extremely useful to the whole group.

Despite a slight increase in 2010 compared to 2009, the turnover rate remains relatively low at 5.5%.

Vocational training

Training has contributed to the deployment of cross-company projects such as Quality Risk Management, pharmaceutical research and development project management, deployment of deviation management tools, awareness of the concept of a pharmaceutical establishment for the employees of LFB BIOTECHNOLOGIES SAS, and many actions related to the prevention of occupational hazards.
