Plasma supply is inseparable from LFB's International Development. Increasingly, demand from the French market mobilizes resources from the EFS and growth abroad must be based on quality supplies. Securing plasma supplies is essential for internationalizing the LFB.

To accompany its international development, the Austrian subsidiary of LFB, EUROPLASMA GmbH, acquired a group of plasma collection companies in Europe, on 31 August 2010. This Austrian group has 8 plasma collection centres in Austria and the Czech Republic, which will ensure that LFB has a sustainable supply of quality plasma for its international sales. The plasma collected by EUROPLASMA GmbH meets all the European quality and safety standards.
